3.0 EXECUTION
3.1 PREPARATION

  1. Prior to CWS planter liner fabrication, the contractor shall verify as-built dimensions of planter receptacles ensure proper size, fit and quantity required. 3
3.2 INSTALLATION
  1. Install CWS planter liners to allow for easy removal if necessary.
  2. Provide continuous basal support.
  3. Install level to permit correct functioning.
  4. Do not trim or modify the CWS planter liner in any way without first consulting with and receiving approval from the manufacturer.

  1. HIPS is a lightweight, rigid material, and makes for small and medium-sized planter liners that may also be appropriate for decorative, drop-in installations. The units are manufactured to tolerances * 0.25" unless specified otherwise.
  2. Excess rainwater buildup can lead to "root rot" and less healthy plants. On-site drain installation by contractor may compromise integrity of vacuum reservoir and is not recommended. Exterior drains are supplied by manufacturer with removable stopper to control drainage.
  3. Field verification of actual planter receptacle size is frequently overlooked by the contractor, and can lead to delays and additional cost if neglected.
