Cool containers exposed to heat or fire with water to prevent pressure buildup and possible explosion. Unusual fire and explosion hazards: Aerosol spray is extremely flammable. Closed containers may explode due to pressure buildup from extreme heat or fire. Vapors are heavier than air, may travel long distances and ignite explosively when exposed to pilot lights, other flames, sparks, heaters, smoking electrical motors, static discharge or other ignition sources. Never use welding or cutting torch on or near container, product can ignite explosively. 7 Reactivity DataStability: Stable Conditions to avoid: High Temperatures Materials to avoid: Strong oxidizing agents Hazardous decomposition products: Carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide Hazardous polymerization: Will not occur 8 Accidental ReleaseSpills: Remove all sources of ignition: smoking, flames (including pilot lights), flares, sparks, hot surfaces, static electricity, electric motors. Use non-sparking tools. Ventilate area. Soak up with inert, absorbent material (paper, vermiculite, sand, earth, clay, floor absorbent). Put in closed container. Keep out of sewers, streams or other bodies of water. Large spills (over 5 gallons), notify proper authorities. 9 Handling and StorageStorage: Do not store above 120F.
