This project, from concept to planting, took 2-1/2 weeks to complete. Using our standard wall-mount Wilshire Box 2 (18"W x 24"H) in two different lengths (120" & 108") and standard CWM Modular Container Irrigation, Planter Technology and Valleycrest were able to get it done in time for the marketing center's gala opening. Because the street slopes dramatically, the boxes had to be wall-mounted to be consistent with the building. A recess in the building wall panels would have made two of the boxes uneven with the other two. Planter Technology modified their standard wall bracket to incorporate a 6" piece of tube steel, providing the necessary spacing. You can better appreciate the scale of the boxes when comparing their size to the person trimming the Buxus below right.
