Design & Maintenance: Blondie's Treehouse
Ono Restaurant is in the Hotel Gaansevoort, in New York's Meatpacking district. It is known for its sushi as well as its trendy clientele. The outdoor patio/lounge is frequently written up as one of the high points of the restaurant. The bamboo surrounding the roofdeck shelters the diners and provides for a soft, inviting wall. Blondie's Treehouse recommended the use of Planter Technology's CWM Modular irrigation system throughout all the planters to maintain the bamboo at their best. These pictures, taken a year after opening, show how well the system (and Blondies') have done their job!
