Calamos Investments Parking Structure , Naperville, IL

Design: Lohan Caprile Goettsch Architects

After using Planter Technology's lightweight planters with a built-in container irrigation system at the Soldier Field project in Chicago, Lohan Caprile Goettsch specified a similar product for the Calamos Investments parking structure. These units, 40" tall overall and made of lightweight polyethylene, utilized a pedestal with a double-walled planter with container irrigation on top. The units, custom manufactured for this structure, have kept the plants looking great even through a hot Chicago summer.
